On M&S Systems Intercoms with a LCD Display. ER-6 means the power supply needs to be reset. To do this locate the circuit breaker which supplies the intercom. Turn the breaker off, wait 10 seconds, and turn the circuit breaker back on. The ER-6 message is related to a surge protection feature of the system.
