Search the FAQ for entries containing:
On entry systems that use the telephone to answer the door, touch tone recognition is used to engage the door strike relay.
Check the following:
- Are you using a hand set capable of generating touch tones?
- Is the Pulse/Tone switch on the handset set to Tone?
- Some phone handsets (particularly KSU/Digital phone systems/Mobile Phones) do not generate the touchtone long enough for the controller to recognize. Check that the tone is generated for as long as you hold the button.
- Are you using the correct digit(s) for your system?
- Is the door strike working? Use a entry code to confirm at the entrance.
