Need Help With Your System? > Alarm System > How can I arm the alarm system?

Search the FAQ for entries containing:

Your system has the following arming modes:

AWAY: (Number 2) Arms all perimeter and interior zones. Provides Entry delay on ENTRY/EXIT Zones upon return.

STAY: (Number 3) Arms perimeter zones only. Provides Entry delay on ENTRY/EXIT Zones.

INSTANT: (Number 7) Arms perimeter zones only. There is NO Entry delay.

MAX: (Number 4) Arms all perimeter and interior zones. There is NO Entry delay. When arming in this mode there is no way to disarm without generating an alarm. This way a central station report is generated.

    To arm the system:

On keypads with no single button arming: Enter your user code (4 Digits) + Arming Function

OR Press # (lower right hand corner of keypad) + Arming Function (not applicable for systems with open/close monitoring)

On keypads with single button arming: Press and hold the arming button
